Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki T Purnama inaugurates 60 caretakers of Disaster Risks Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Forum (FPRB-API) at City Hall, Thursday (5/8).

The unit in each sector must coordinate in overcoming every disaster

Those caretakers consist of people from the government, academia, and business world. They are expected to improve coordination in handling all sectors of disaster management in the city.

“ The unit in each sector must coordinate in overcoming every disaster . I also ask this forum to do disaster prevention acts, such as by helping the government to prevent flood, fire, accident, et cetera,” stated Basuki.

Meanwhile, Head of FPRB-API, Anton Agus Haryanto, said that this forum is a disaster volunteers.

“This forum supports Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency to help the residents who are in calamity,” he told.
